At its site in Wessling near Munich RAYLASE AG develops and builds advanced, high-precision components and subsystems to deflect, modulate and control laser beams of laser systems between a few milliwatts to several kilowatts.

The wide range of products include galvanometer scanners, 2-axis laser beam deflection units with suitable lenses, 3-axis laser beam subsystems for processing of large working fields, control boards and user friendly software right through to patented devices for the optic-mechanical control of the beam power.

RAYLASE AG is a DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 standard certified company and responds promptly to customer requirements and continues to work on innovative development projects in co-operation with its customers and their clients.

Newly developed products can be tested in the in-house application lab. Customers are welcome to assist when their materials are being processed.

The products are suitable for:

  • material processing such as marking, engraving, perforating, cutting, welding, rapid tooling, structuring, processing on the fly, 3D-applications.
  • The patented Power Control Device (PCD) is suitable for applications which need an extremely stable input power entry into the material and is perfect for printing, packaging, electronic and automotive industry.
  • Different kind of materials can be processed such as plastics, metal, glass, wood, paper, ceramic, stone or leather.

SUPERSCAN-9 – Size Matters, Compact Design with Performance

A smart miniature format for XY laser beam deflection units with a diameter of 9 mm is invading the market from Wessling. RAYLASE AG has extended its SUPERSCAN family with a miniature unit - the SUPERSCAN-9. This shows the proven RAYLASE technology following the miniaturization trend in the laser industry. It enables laser system manufacturers to construct compact systems with high performance. The SUPERSCAN-9 will be presented during LASER World of PHOTONICS China 2007 at RAYLASE booth in Hall E1, Booth No. 6148.

With a possible writing speed of > 500 cps, a repeatability of 20 μrad and low drift values, the SUPERSCAN-9 is the best product in its category currently on the market.
