Photonics is regarded as one of the most pervasive and enabling technologies of the 21 century. In the past years the Chinese market for laser products became the biggest hotspot in the inter-national laser and optoelectronics industry.

The “III. International Conference on Laser Processes and Components (LPC)” will take place from March 18th-19th 2008 and is being organized by Messe Munich, Laser Center Hannover, Laser Institute of America and the Chi-nese Optical Society-Laser Processing Committee.
The two-day event focuses on laser processing technologies, laser compo-nents as well as on current develop-ments and trends in optical technolo-gies. The LPC 2008 is the place to be in Asia for an intense exchange between the scientific and industrial sectors of the photonic technologies.

All presentations will be translated simulta-neously in English and Chinese. Each pres-entation will take 20 minutes (incl. Ques-tions).

The abstract submission will be open from July 13th. to November 30th, 2007.
