2007 Forum on the Development of National Laser Processing Industry was held on Nov. 2-5 at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. As the supporter, LASER. World of Photonics China involved actively in preparing and organizing the forum.
The themes for this forum were: how to make the continuable development for Chinese Laser enterprises, analysis on the current status of Chinese laser enterprises in 2007, analysis on the industry chain of China laser processing equipment, the development and demand of the core function parts and techniques of the laser processing equipments, the international market deploitation for Chinese suppliers, strengthen the international cooperation (especially with Russia), and how to improve the technical innovation capability.
On the first day's speech, Mr. Deng Shuseng, director of China Optical Society-Laser Processing Committee, exchanged his opinions on the trade shows as he has participated in LASER. World of Photonics China and LASER Munich for two consecutive years. LASER. World of Photonics in Munich, which is held biennially, is one of the premier trade fairs in the industry. Since its inauguration in China in 2006, LASER. World of Photonics China has become a must attended platform in the field of laser and photonics in China, with exhibitors from home and abroad, including TRUMPF, Rofin, Coherent, Spectra-Physic, JDSU, nLight, LASERVALL, Linos¡¢Miyachi, OSRAM, Han's Laser, Huagong, Chutian, NCRIEO, Lingyun, CASTECH CRYSTALS¡¢HI-TECH, ETSC, Daheng, Tec-h, Dongjun. As it is co-located with electronica & ProductronicaChina, it can be found that lots of professionals come from the electronics and semiconductor industry, meanwhile the expo centre is always humming with visitors from the academies, institutes, industries like shipbuilding, steel, automotive and aviation.
On the second day afternoon, attendants visited the product gallery and production workshop of ZHONGTA accompanied by Mr. Fu Jun, GM of ZHONGTA. They were quite astonished at the developments and achievements made by ZHONGTA.
During the Forum, LASER. World of Photonics China talked to representatives from Huanggong, Chutian, Dalu, Xinte, Tianguang, Borne,Unity-prima, most of them had exhibited or visited LASER. World of Photonics China and they had a good impression on the exhibition. All the participants showed great interested in 2008 fair and hope it can become the ideal platform for China's laser and photonics industry in exchange, cooperation and promotion!
