    Different materials require different wavelengths of the laser. Therefore different laser type is applied for different materials. Generally, for laser marking, pulsed fiber laser with 1064nm is suitable for marking on metal materials like lime stainless steel, aluminum steel, gold, silver, etc. CO2 laser with 10600nm is suitable for marking non-metal materials like wood, plastic, and leather, and UV laser with 355nm is suitable for marking on plastic and glass materials.

    Laser type is the first parameter we must select according to the material of the product.

    A laser marking machine is normally categorized by its laser generator type. There are three main types of laser used for marking, they are fiber laser with 1064m wavelength, CO2 laser 10600nm wavelength, and pulsed UV laser355nm wavelength.

    Most of the time, for standard machines, the parts for the engraving or marking machine is in stock, and the machine can be finished within 1-2 weeks. If it is not a standard one or some parts are not in stock, it may take up to 3-4 weeks. Besides, for shipping, it takes around 3-5 working days by air. Most of the time, we do not use sea shipping, which will be much longer.

  • What is the Warranty of A laser engraver or Marker?

    Typically, the warranty of a China-made laser engraver or marker is 2-3 years. If it is under warranty, we will do the repairing or replacement without charges. After it is out of warranty, we may charge a small repair cost or fix it without charges. Please refer to our contract for the final warranty terms.
